Vladimir Zorin

A renowned Russian artist, he carefully preserves and continues the traditions of the old masters of academic painting. He is highly skilled in complex graphic techniques such as etching, lithography, watercolor, and color etching.
His etchings have been successfully exhibited at numerous art shows in Russia, France, Tanzania, the USA, Japan, and the Czech Republic.
His etchings and lithographs are part of the collections of 19 museums across Russia, as well as in art galleries in Russia, the USA, and France. They are also held in private collections in over 50 countries.
He was born in Moscow in 1960, and graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 1983.
Since 1985, he has been teaching drawing and painting at the Podolsk Children’s Art School.
He became a member of the Union of Artists of Russia in 1990. In 2008, he was elected to the board of the Graphics Section of the Moscow Regional Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia.
He is also an Associate Professor at the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK), and a board member of the Podolsk City Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Since 2005, he has regularly conducted masterclasses in drawing and watercolor painting for children in cities across the Moscow region. He also takes part in organizing children’s art exhibitions and often serves as head of the jury for such competitions.
Since 2017, he has been actively involved in organizing and leading the international plein air project “Colors of the World” on a regular basis.
