Alla Kolpakova

Born in Moscow, she graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts at Moscow Technological Institute. She currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Drawing and Painting at the Institute of Arts, Kosygin Russian State University.

A member of several prominent professional organizations, including the Moscow Union of Artists (MOSKh), the Union of Artists of Russia (TSKhR), and the International Art Fund, she is also the founder of the creative association “Ofort.”

Her artistic practice is deeply rooted in graphic art and printmaking, and she is a regular participant in major national and international exhibitions. Among them are the Ural Print Triennial (2016), the 4th Kazan International Biennale of Printed Graphics “Horseman” (2017), and “Pereslavl Autumn 2016,” dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Dmitry Kardovsky. She has also taken part in the international competition and exhibition program “Teachers and Students” (2016–2017).

Her works have been exhibited internationally, including at the “Russian Artists in Venice” exhibition held at Palazzo Priuli Bon in Venice, Italy (2015, 2016), and at the Manhattan Graphics Center in New York (2017, 2019).

Her oeuvre reflects a strong commitment to the traditions of printmaking, combined with a contemporary artistic vision that continues to evolve through both teaching and active exhibition practice.
